They are currently seeking a passionate Python / Ruby Engineer to provide high-performing application solutions to a range of Top-tier clients.
Description
As a Python / Ruby Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Adapting to changing customer requirements
- Respond to incidents, escalations and exceptions
- Collaborate and contribute to the community by challenging current methods, and developing new solutions
- Assess, Design and implement existing and emerging solutions
- Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing and deployment of complex solutions
Profile
The successful Python / Ruby Engineer will have:
- Previous commercial exposure working with Linux systems
- Demonstrated scripting or programming abilities
- Creation and maintenance of basic RPMS
- Automation experience using C, Python, Ruby, Perl, or Shell
- Knowledge of a variety of virtualisation and cloud technologies
- Australian Government Security clearance
- Understanding of basic LDAP concepts and basic connectivity to Directory Server, Network Information Service, Active Directory
- Exposure in a client facing environment
