A Program Management Office (PMO) Manager for Risk and Reporting is required for the Next Generation Ticketing Solution Program to lead all aspects of the Risk and Issue Management, Program Status Reporting and Change Variation Management. The experience required for this role will have come from extensive experience in similar roles on large complex programs that have both a significant IT component and involve external suppliers. It would also be an advantage to have hands-on complex project delivery experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pragmatic, fit for purpose Risk and Issue Management, Program Status Reporting Management and Change Variation Management processes and templates/tools for the Program that are aligned to appropriate external standards and encompass fit for purpose Management reporting.
  • Ensure effective and accurate risk and issue management is in place across all aspects of the complex multi-year Program delivery including the works undertaken by external Suppliers
  • Provide support services to the Program to ensure existing risks and issues are continually assessed and all treatment actions are being undertaken by due date. Capture new risks and issues as they arise and facilitate development of treatment plans
  • Facilitate Risk Workshops at key Program checkpoints such as prior to go-live events, to ensure focused identification and management of key point in time risks
  • Contribute to Program Governance forums and lead regular Executive Risk Review Sessions
  • Ensure effective and accurate Program Status Reporting is in place across all aspects of the Program and that reports are tailored to different stakeholder and Program Governance needs
  • Coordinate validation of the Supplier’s Status Reports and integrate their elements into the overall Program Status
  • Coordinate collection of the content of the Program Status Reports from the Stream leads across the Program and produce final reports by due dates which adhere to tight timeframes
  • Ensure effective Change Variation Management is in place across the Program including proposed changes from the Supplier
  • Work with the Supplier to interface with their Change Variation process. Finance to forecast and track cost elements associated with Variations
  • Support capability development of the direct report to this role
