The Organisation:
This central Commonwealth agency provides support to the Australian community and also plays a key role in enabling other Commonwealth agencies to operate efficiently and effectively through the creation and continuous monitoring of processes relating to programs and initiatives.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to deliver a corporate systems and process project that will change the way Federal Government operates. You will be working in a project team (corporate) oversighting the technology project team. You will work across stakeholders from different business areas, as well as collaborating across agencies for a whole of Government solution. Coming in early on the project means you will support the design behind an innovative solution.
The Role:
The project has recently commenced the first phase of a three phase roll out. The project involves implementing a Whole of Government real time payment functionality.
You will provide:
- Support to the project team
- Secretariat services on committees
- Manage project enquiries and support reporting on milestones
- Support production of Analytics and manage data
The Person:
You are someone who is starting to develop capabilities in project management coming from a strong administrative background, perhaps as an EA. You have exceptional organisational capabilities, strong experience supporting project committees and exceptional interpersonal skills.
You understand and will enjoy the complexities and challenges required when being part of a Whole of Government initiative.
Applicants with previous experience working for a central agency and/or delivery of financial systems transformation projects will be considered favourably.
Baseline clearance as a minimum is highly desirable.
The Salary/Rate:
$45- $55hr + Super
