A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with strong experience with mobile apps (iOS / Android) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Joining an in-house mobile application development team (iOS and Android), the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a small DevOps team. The key focus of the position will be managing the DevOps function on behalf of the mobile development team, as well as focusing on process improvement and automation, investigating the use of new technologies and tools, participating in technical feasibility assessments and contributing to the successful delivery of new products and increased functionality of existing mobile apps.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications
• Strong DevOps experience gained within large, complex environments
• Previous experience working with mobile apps with excellent knowledge of mobile devices, connectivity, WIFI etc
• Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team of DevOps Engineers
• Proven experience and use of DevOps toolset including Jenkins, Bamboo or Team City,
• Knowledge and use of Atlassian tools (GIT, Jira or Confluence)
• Automation experience
• Excellent scripting experience in Powershell, Bash or similar
• Experience across different operating systems (Windows, Linux, OSX)
• Keen interest in technology with an enthusiasm to try new tools
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with business stakeholders
