DevOps Engineer - Melbourne CBD - Permanent. 

The Role:
My client are a rapidly-growing consultancy based in Melbourne CBD with an enviable, ever-growing client base ranging from Tier 1 Banks to Telco. They currently require a passionate, results-focused individual to take accountability for maturing
DevOps uplift.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership throughout all phases of the SDLC with a key focus on enterprise
applications.

Key Skills/ Experience required:
● Solid Understanding of Container Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
● Strong experience working with large/complex AWS environments
● Hands-on experience in AWS based multi-tiered infrastructure including web, application, security and DB tiers.
● Exposure to supporting mission-critical environments
● Experience working as part of an Agile software delivery team
● Proven ability working with teams in developing CI/CD capability
● Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby
● Collaborative approach to solving problems and ability to adapt and assess new technologies and solutions for optimal outcome

Nice to haves:
● AWS Solution Architect Certification
● Networking technologies (Route 53, CloudFront, Direct Connect, Akamai CDN)
● Networking concepts (NAT, firewalls, ACL’s/NACL’s, Routing Tables, NGINX)
● Backup and Recovery methodologies
● Database and replication methodologies (RDS, DynamoDB, Oracle 11G,
12C, SQL 2012+)
