An opportunity exists to join the IT Helpdesk as IT Support Officer.  

This is a 12 month full-time opportunity located in our Brandon Park office. You will be providing support desk assistance to all clinics and Doctors across Australia.

The I-MED Network is Australia’s largest private diagnostic imaging network with clinics in all major metropolitan areas and significant parts of rural and regional Australia. The Network has over 30 brands, operating 214 clinics and performing over 4.5 million patient examinations a year.  

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide IT desktop support to the clinics over the phone and face-to-face. In this role you will be required to:

  • Proactively troubleshooting Microsoft applications as well as customised applications
  • Provide administration of servers and applications such as AD user ID creation, deletion, password resets, permissions changes for file systems
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of computers as required
  • Assist in troubleshooting application and network configuration problems
  • Log tickets for all new incidents and requests (phone and email), problem solve tickets or escalate where required
  • Update service desk support documentation and knowledge base information
  • Participate in project related tasks

The successful applicant will have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Experience within a Microsoft environment
  • Working knowledge of network and routing protocols, eg TCP / IP, DNS
  • Hands on hardware fault fixing experience
  • Good trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level customer service skills 
  • Ability to write scripts and automate tasks
