Our client is a large organisation with their Head Office in the Parramatta CBD, close to a train station, so easy to get to.
The current contract role is focussed on a large SQL database refresh project which is expected to go for over a year.
You should have extensive experience with relational databases; specifically Microsoft SQL Server Platforms (including 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2016).
You should have experience with cloud hosting, virtualisation and consolidations.
Besides cloud, we would expect you also to have solid experience with PAAS, and storage options such as SAN, NAS, backup, etc as they relate to databases.
To apply for this role you must have demonstrable experience in all of the above.
Also, you should have solid working experience with large organisations and in both the corporate and the public sectors.
We are expecting the role to start late August/early September, and this contract is for an initial period to June 2019, but is expected to extend.
