Develop your helpdesk, desktop support and network skills with a leading professional services firm. Bring your fresh ideas and passion for digital marketing to Camerons, one of Tasmania’s leading regional accounting and financial planning practices.

Reporting direct to the IT Manager you will be involved in: providing IT support to staff; digital marketing; and operating and maintaining network and ICT systems. Specifically, you will:

  • Configure new machines, devices, printers, and network hardware
  • Support the provision and maintenance of software and hardware systems
  • Assist with implementation and changes to hardware and software systems
  • Perform system, backup and disaster recovery checks
  • Assist with new system development
  • Enhance Camerons’ online and social media presence
  • Provide support and backup for the IT Manager

This role will suit you if you enjoy working with technology and bringing fresh ideas and innovation to IT and digital marketing. You will like problem solving and assisting people to deliver results that make a positive difference for our firm and its clients.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Familiarity installing Microsoft PC operating systems (primarily Windows 10)
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, WiFi and cabling
  • Troubleshooting experience in diagnosing and fixing basic Windows, Microsoft Office and printing issues
  • Knowledge and experience in SEO & Social Media Marketing
  • An interest in learning Microsoft server operating systems, HPE servers, Exchange and SQL Server management and more complex networking

Camerons operates from five sites across Northern Tasmania therefore a willingness and capability to travel locally is a necessary component of this role.
