About the role: 

You will be a part of our Field Services team who are true heroes of our business, with a reputation of exceptional customer service, attitude, technical expertise and ability to quickly resolve service calls.
  
Specialising in hardware across a range of different technologies including Cisco, Servers, Storage Platforms and Tape Libraries, you will be responsible for all avenues of hardware maintenance, preventative maintenance, installations and upgrades to ensure that our customers know “we’ve got them covered” and key in achieving this will be your superior relationship building skills and passion about the customer experience. 
  
What are we looking for?
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience as a customer facing Field Services Engineer;
  • Demonstrable hardware break fix support on one or more of the following Wintel platforms: IBM, HP and Dell;
  • Proven hardware break fix experience on Cisco routers and switches, UCS or Wireless;
  • Working knowledge on any of the following: EMC, HP Storage, IBM midrange servers, IBM Storage, Sun / Oracle;
  • Capability supporting Tape libraries: IBM, HP or Dell;
  • Hardware interrogation and software knowledge for storage products;
  • Experience with NetApp storage systems will be advantageous.
Most importantly, you will have a desire to continue to develop your technical skills/ knowledge. We offer 24 x 7 hardware support, meaning there will be on call and after hours’ accountabilities. Your technical ability is as important to us as your attitude, passion and customer focus.

PLEASE NOTEDue to the security requirements of the role, candidates must either hold NV1 clearance or be an Australian Citizen.
