CROWN SYDNEY

With construction underway at Barangaroo South, Crown Sydney is now seeking an experienced design professional to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the design and build of Sydney's first six-star luxury hotel resort. The Crown Sydney Hotel Resort will be world-class and will feature 350 hotel rooms and suites, luxury apartments, signature restaurants, bars, luxury retail outlets, pool and spa facilities, conference rooms and VIP gaming facilities.

Working alongside the Senior Design Manager, you will be accountable for managing and resolving the detailed interior design for the building across the project, whilst managing interior and lighting consultants and liaising with associated services consultants, to deliver a successful project on time and to budget. 

Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the establishment of design statements and area planning
  
• Maintaining efficient and routine communications and liaison with Crown Resorts representatives and other relevant organisations
  
• Maintaining detailed records pertaining to design actions and direction for the project
  
• Supervising and providing documentation reviews from schematic design drawings to final interior design construction documentation
  
• Reviewing design consultant drawing packages, joinery packages and shop drawings, and FF&E design intent Packages
  
• Working closely with Crown's Project Managers throughout the construction process
  
• Inspecting the construction fit-out through to site completion
  
• Ensuring that Crown's high standards of detail and finish are adhered to through all stages of design and construction
  

What you need:

• Extensive experience in Interior Design ideally on similar scale hospitality projects with custom joinery and FF&E
  
• Experience and proven ability to deliver on multiple, complex capital projects on time and within budget
  
• An advanced current knowledge of products, materials custom design details and construction
  
• Experience and understanding of procurement of FF&E and Artwork
  
• Bachelor Degree or higher in Interior Design or a related discipline is required
  
• Proven ability to work autonomously in demanding situations with commitment to deadlines and timeliness of activities
