Role Summary
Our mission as a Technology team is to excel at delivering amazing products, services and experiences that exceed our customer expectations. We have a great opportunity for a Technology Manager, who will ultimately be responsible for managing our core lotteries systems (maintaining and supporting our back-office systems), strategy, planning, delivery and people leadership You will act as a leader in high standards of software quality, maintainability and performance.
How you will contribute
In this role you will be involved in, however not limited to;
- Provide guidance and governance over the selection and utilization of technology
- Apply and drive strategic thinking and direction within your teams, whilst leveraging Data and domain knowledge
- Ensure test environment, tools and associated processes are meeting the needs of your team
- Build, review and maintain investment roadmaps for your service area
- Support your teams to determine the design and implementation of standards, procedures and methodologies to maximise effectiveness if the product delivery lifecycle
Our Ideal Person
A senior specialist with system architecture skills and previous experience working in a developer role, you will have demonstrated experience in designing software solutions and products, managing the full life cycle from concept through to delivery and operations. You will be an expert in structure application design and development techniques. Demonstrated experience in agile ways of working and the ability to drive adoption within the team.
