About The OpportunityThey are now looking for a Level 1 Engineer to join their company in Sydney CBD, with the potential to earn $45,000 Per Annum + Superannuation.
The primary purpose of the position is to perform a variety of roles relating to the provision of outsourced IT support for clients.
Reporting directly to the Help Desk Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Answer the phones, working issues as they come in and escalating as necessary
- Monitor and resolve failures picked up by automated monitoring system
- Build and repair laptops and desktops
- Install computer hardware, register/set up website domains/hosting services
- Logging all time spent in ticketing system
- Must have 12 + months experience in a similar position
- Must have an understanding of IT environments
- Must have an ability to explain technical concepts in a relatable manner to customers
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- On-going training and development
