Customer focused IT or Mining Graduates encouraged to apply. Initially a twelve-month contract with a view to becoming permanent, exciting on the job training, learning opportunities, and mentoring will be provided. This role will play an integral part in the implementation of MICROMINE’s Pitram Systems and supporting its customers.

Duties of this role will include but not be limited to:

• Troubleshooting and customer incident resolution (including software upgrades)
• Assisting with all aspects of Pitram implementations both in Australia and globally as required (this includes coaching and training of clients)
• Aiding Pitram Systems Specialists in providing guidance to clients around the operation and utilisation of the Pitram solution and assisting with Managed Service Visits
• Preparing and presenting product demos as required both to internal and external customers
• Participating in research and development activities
• After hours support as required
• Producing periodic reports as defined by management

The following skills/experience will be considered an advantage:

• IT skills, especially for networking and SQL issues
• IT system design and implementation ability
• Mining/resource industry knowledge/experience
• Strong problem-solving initiative
• Experience gathering client requirements
• Strong customer-facing, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive approach to learning and development
