The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect is responsible for developing proposals primarily focused on growing the IT Cloud, Managed IT Support and Professional Services offerings

Core competencies in the role:

• Proven experience of developing and delivering effective presentations
• Must have previous presales consulting experience in IaaS or Cloud Services and IT outsourcing / managed services market IT outsourcing and managed services market
• A “trusted advisor” and “project Leader” attitude
• A proven track record in a presales environment in an IT solutions business
• Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing)
• Ability to perform and work well under pressure
• Ability to self-study and obtain technical certifications
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

  
Presales makes up 90% of this role and you will have demonstrable experience in a customer facing role as well as Delivery of various pre-sales activities - including responding to customer requests for information, developing and planning conceptual solution presentations and demonstrations, technical/product guidance in meetings etc.

Technical competencies in the following are also essential to the role:

• Citrix – Xenapp / Xendesktop
• VMware – (Vcloud, nice to have)
• Microsoft – EUC / Azure / 365
