Job Description:

They are seeking an Agile Business Analyst with outstanding technical requirement gathering and user story writing skills to join on a 12 Month Contract basis, on a rate of up to $750 a day.

You will work closely with the Global Technology Manager and other internal stakeholders within a customer focused, product driven, software development environment. As an experienced BA, you will help to deliver a suite of robust online travel management solutions and work on new innovation projects, focusing on AI, Bots, Machine Learning, and Google Assistant etc.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from Business Stakeholders
• Effectively identify and define business needs and problems/issues
• Assist the Technology Manager in writing and developing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
• Present to SCRUM team in grooming ceremonies to articulate and refine user stories
• Work closely with Developers & UI/UX teams to ensure requirements can be built
• Elicit and document business rules and complete business process mapping where required

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, working in software delivery teams, preferably in web/mobile application development
• An understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, or experience working on cool innovation products
• Ability to create user personas/stories and interpret customer needs into application and operational requirements
• Travel industry experience and an understanding of Sabre (or other GDS) is beneficial but not mandatory
• Must have worked on solutions where multiple 3rd party integration connections were present and needed to be analysed
• Advanced knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
• Ability to grasp product concepts very quickly
• Ability to work with autonomy and think on your feet
