This ASX listed technology leader is currently expanding their operations to a global scale. Due to their continued growth, they are now seeking a talented Desktop Support Engineer to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supporting desktop systems including Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7 environments, Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
• Responding to Service Requests & Incidents across Audio Visual equipment including Video Conferencing
• Providing VIP Support which may include out of hours on call support for limited number of executive users
• Follow processes and tools to log, track escalate and resolve and report customer problems to enhance quality of customer experience
• Working as part of a team, under your own initiative, in sharing information assisting in calls and mentoring other staff

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

• Strong experience supporting desktop and peripheral systems such as video conferencing systems
• Previous experience supporting service desk technologies such as Windows Server Active Directory, Microsoft Office and Exchange
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of ITIL or experience in ITIL Environment desirable
