About the Role
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager who is comfortable leading projects throughout the project life cycle, dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders, managing vendor relationships and commercial contracts, whilst utilising meticulous project planning, time management and solid interpersonal skills. In addition, your ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive master schedule and project controls will be critical to the successful delivery of the project to the business.
You will ensure projects comply with internal risk management and governance frameworks, facilitate project working groups and relevant steering committees while liaising with the business on financial, resource and change requirements.
The successful candidate can anticipate working in an environment where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged to ensure optimum performance and outcomes for both the organisation and their customers.
Skills & Experience Required
- Significant experience in end to end project management and a proven history of successful project delivery (scope, time, budget and quality)
- Experience in Agile Software Implementation Projects of $10m+
- Previous experience project/program managing large scale software implementations e.g. full ERP replacement
- Able to manage multiple significant vendors, ensuring the commercial contract requirements are met
- Certification in Project Management such as PMBOK or Prince2
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels
- Previous experience in the utility/mining/transportation sector would be an advantage particularly projects with real time timetable planning
