Short Description: In the role of Appian Consultant, you will interface with key client stakeholders throughout the entire life-cycle of projects to define business processes by creating, presenting and implementing Appian’s technical solutions and BPM software.  You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. 




Responsibilities: 

 • Lead teams of Appian Consultants, Partner and Client Resources on project related tasks to ensure timely delivery

 • Serve as a technical lead and mentor.  Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.

 • Work with team members, offshore to identify, mitigate and resolve project issues and risks

 • Participate in team design meetings, daily scrum meetings, and other development meetings

 • Assist in application deployment and roll-out to production

Skill / Experience Criteria: 

 Essential:

 • Experience in Appian BPM (16.X, 17.X) and integration technologies and database applications such as, but not limited to: MS/SQL, Oracle.
 • Strong object oriented design and implementation experience.
 • Experience in application level architecting, designing and development activities
 • Good understanding of Appian architectural principles, models, patterns, and perspective   
 • Relevant credentials as an Analyst and/or Designer.
 •   Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science or related discipline 
 
Preferred: 
 • 7+ years of relevant experience in IT
 • 3+ years of relevant experience Appian BPM (16.X, 17.X) suite
 • Knowledge of Appian Administration and Plug-in development
 • Lead Designer credential would be highly valued 
 • Exposure to distributed BPM integrated applications
 • Knowledge on best practices, strategies in Appian implementation
 • Strong working experience in SQL Server or Oracle
 • Demonstrate advanced understanding of the project methodology (various industry standard methodologies such as: SDLC, RUP, Agile, SCRUM)
 • Experience in Banking and Financial Services.   
 • Experience working in a Global delivery environment.

 • Ability to develop solutions independently.
 • Good verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills
 • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
