Role – Java/API Microservices developer
Location – Melbourne/Sydney
Job Level – 5 (Technology Lead, 6+ Years’ Experience)
Short Description –
The job profile includes the following:
• Demonstrate micro services and Java development skills and experience in designing and developing Restful APIs.
• Demonstrated experience using software frameworks and patterns
• Understand customer needs to make sound judgments
• Pays attention to detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality applications
• Knowledge of Agile & DevOps concepts
Technical Capabilities / Skills:
Hands-on experience on the following technology stack:
• Strong hands on micro services and Java development skills
• Strong experience in designing and developing Restful APIs.
• Able to interpret and create API documentation
• Experience building high volume customer facing systems
• REST / JSON API development / integration experience
• Experience with development and test using micro service / lightweight containers & frameworks such as Spring Boot / Play Framework
• Familiar with database technologies - particularly NoSQL DBs
• Design of scalable systems in cloud (AWS is a plus)
• Messaging (Rabbit MQ, Tibco)
• Continuous Integration
• Docker, APIGEE experience will be advantage
Educational Qualifications and other skills:
The candidate must possesses the following:
• Undergraduate studies (bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred) in business management information systems, computer science or a related field.
• At least six years of technical work experience in the information technology field.
• Excellent written and oral collaboration skills
