Job Description

Accenture is looking for passionate and customer obsessed AWS cloud developers and AWS solutions architects to help drive innovation, build differentiated solutions, and define new customer experiences for our customers (and customers, customers). You’ll work with smart people across our industry specialist organisations, and technology groups to help our customers get the most out of AWS in their cloud journey.The role will be compensated between $60,000 - $150,000 including super.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining, building, and implementing innovative and public cloud solutions for our customers

• Communicating the value of hyper-scale public cloud concepts, the value of cloud native services, and opportunities hyper-scale cloud services provides to customers

• Driving discussions with customers on public cloud best practices and new ways of delivering IT services on public cloud platforms

• Running the design and delivery of public cloud services with customers, taking them on the public cloud journey with agile delivery models

Required Skills

• A systems engineering or developer background with the ability to learn quickly and share your knowledge with the broader team.
• Experience with Agile methodology, perhaps you’re also been a scrum-master!
• You’ll have hands on keyboard AWS implementation experience across a broad range of AWS services, with deeper capabilities and interests in specific services.
• Scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS stacks as code.
• Use of APIs and application integration
• A mindset of automate everything, with experience demonstrating this.
• Public cloud automaton tooling and scripting experience – CFn, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, and the like.
• Scripting in Python, Node JSON, Ruby
• Experience with AWS cloud architecture or development with production implementation and everything that goes around it such as people, process, technology.
• Experience with Linux
• Passionate about AWS, cloud technologies, and maintaining technical currency.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, CoreOS, Mesos etc.
• Packer, Vagrant, Terraform.
• AWS Pro level certification in SA or DevOps
• Working knowledge of cloud security, industry security requirements and architecting for compliance
