We have an exciting newly created Security Analyst position available in our Information Security team. This position could be based in Mount Waverley VIC, Hastings VIC, or Wollongong NSW.

What is the role?

You will be a member of the Information Security Team and in this role, you will:

• Provide security review and advice on the selection, design, and implementation of solutions.
• Ensure the maintenance of security controls to protect BlueScope and our customers information.
• Be part of the incident response team or manage security incidents.
• Conduct security risk assessments ensuring compliance to standards and contracts as applicable.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of information security standards, guidelines, and processes.
• Work with and manage third party vendors to ensure delivery of security services to meet organisational standards and contractual requirements.
• Communicate security requirements effectively to stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Be required to remain current on the latest security solutions and trends.

Who are we looking for?
You will hold a tertiary degree in a relevant field of study and will have experience in at least one of the following areas: security operations, security incident management, vulnerability management, network security, or a security operations centre environment.
