We are currently looking for a Presales Engineer to join our VIC business and focus on scoping opportunities within the cyber security domain. This position will give you the opportunity to take ownership of the small to medium sized opportunities by scoping out the opportunity, writing the SOW's and presenting HLD proposals. As a career progression, this position will allow you to receive ongoing training and mentoring across the enterprise scale and strategic accounts from the Senior Security Architects and will see you progressing into a Presales Securtiy Architect

To be successful in this role will be required to provide high level technical architecture and expertise to support the sales, presales and the bid process

Your typical responsibilities will include:

• Provide support to the sales, bid and account management process
• Interact and involve vendors where required to form a solution
• Gather customer requirements
• Define and design scope of works
• Provide high level architecture across "Cyber Security Domains" to support responses to RFI's and RFP's for smaller and medium sized opportunities
• Engage with customers and vendors throughout the solution design phase
• Present business and solution cases
• Conduct workshops and meetings to discuss and explain RFP's
• Compare and contrast solutions, options and costings across multiple vendors
• Be the main point of contact for Cyber security related opportunity scoping within the small to medium sized opportunities
• Assist with technical business development in a customer facing, C-Level environment
• Quickly align technology to meet client and business requirements

This position will require you to have a deep technical knowledge across:

• Broad knowledge across a range of security solutions including:
  • Penetration and vulnerability testing
  • Threat & Risk Assessments
  • Network Segmentation
  • Security controls and associated vendor technologies
  • Data Protection
  • Secure Enterprise Mobility
  • Endpoint Protection
  • Incident & Event Management
  • Identity and Access Management
• Relevant exposure to Vendor products might include:
  • McAfee/Intel Security
  • Splunk
  • F5
  • Palo Alto
  • Checkpoint
  • Bluecoat
  • Cisco
  • Juniper
  • Riverbed
