We are a web and software development company based on the beautiful Gold Coast, Varsity Lakes, in Queensland. Our team enjoys a relaxed environment and we encourage creativity and productivity!

 ABOUT THE ROLE

The main objective of this exciting role is to provide awesome tech support and amazing customer service skills to ensure our clients and the internal team receive outstanding technical assistance via phone and email.  The support requests come through intermittently and are related to our clients WordPress sites and the related hosting.  In addition to your awesome customer service skills, we hope to utilise your hosting and WordPress knowledge to action as many of the web related queries and requests as possible, however we do have an escalation system in place for more complex requests.

On a day to day basis, you will need to be comfortable communicating with customers in relation to setting up and configuring their web and email hosting, setting up and delegating domains and updating WordPress websites.  This is NOT an entry level role, we need your knowledge and experience to enhance our team and help drive our agency to great success.

Could you be the person we are looking for?

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

  • 3 years proven experience in the Digital/IT space
  • Manage support calls and emails
  • Troubleshoot and action WordPress and hosting related support requests 
  • Log and coordinate support requests required for action or escalation
  • Take detailed requirements and communicate with clients on work progress
  • MUST HAVE - Experience with hosting, DNS management, cPanel and deployment of websites
  • MUST HAVE – Experience with WordPress CMS and content entry (and ideally knowledge of HTML and CSS)
  • Desirable - Prior experience in Help Desk Support or IT Project Administration role
  • Desirable - Database Admin experience
  • Desirable - Experience with configuration and development of WordPress sites (including plug ins, database etc) from scratch
