About the role

Located at our Heatherton office in Victoria and reporting directly to the National Commercial Manager, the Contract Administrator’s principal responsibility will be delivering effective and efficient administrative management of our project head contract agreements.

The Contract Administrator will work collaboratively with the Commercial Manager and delivery team, with a key operational focus on the following:

  • Preparation and submission of appropriate Notice of Delay and Extension of Time correspondence to the client to mitigate the application of any commercial penalties
  • Assisting with interpretation, preparation and communication of head contract scope clarifications to the project team
  • Manage client approvals for the use of subcontractors and liaise with the project procurement team for compliance
  • Ensuring Visionstream remains compliant with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant company business standards.

About you

  • Recent experience in a Contract Administration role (ideally within the Telecommunications or construction industry)
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, Law, Engineering or a similar discipline is desirable
  • A detailed working knowledge of contractual frameworks for upstream works, supported by a working knowledge of the contract progress cycle
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with high level computer skills, particularly within MS Office suite
  • Highly organised and detail oriented, with an adaptability to change and a proven ability to work within a high paced project work environment
