Working for one of the most innovative and fastest growing Fintech's in the country, the role of Senior Software Engineer will focus on designing, maintaining and authoring back-end services that underpin one of the most efficient real-time credit decisioning and payments platforms on the market.

The standout experience we are looking for includes:

• Experience in a multi-functional agile team environment responsible for delivering product features (APIs) to support web and native mobile user interfaces in a real-time environment
• A creative mind and big voice - all tech is created in-house, so bring your ideas and get ready to implement
• The ability to build scalable and maintainable software-as-a-service apps using modern Java
• Working as a team and experienced with peer reviewing system designs, documentation, source code and automated tests.

It would also be great if:

• You had a strong foundation in computer science, so either a degree or solid exposure to functional programming, design patterns, algorithmic development and understanding data structures
• Significant experience coding and building product/services in Java
• Experience with multi-threading and building highly concurrent scalable, fail tolerant, distributed back-end systems
• A solid background building testable, decoupled, maintainable code using a combination of best in market practices
• Strong working knowledge of a combination of Dropwizard, Spring / Guice, ORM/Hiberante, SQL and other relational databases
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML and Structured Logging
• Version control experience with Git
• Exposure to Angular, React or Vue
• Experience with Nginx, MySQL, Redis and Splunk
• Test automation and Continuous Integration & Delivery practices.
