We’re searching for a Digital Applications Support Lead to manage the Application Support lifecycle within Foxtel, delegating tasks to the Application Support team members and interfacing with Foxtel SDLC analysts, developers, suppliers and vendors.
Your purpose
-
Mentor and lead digital application support team across multiple sites.

Manage an array of active faults and issues occurring within the Foxtel technology platforms, this includes but is not limited to:
-
Foxtel “Self Service” application support and fault management.

Digital platforms including Foxtel and partner websites and mobile applications
-
Integration layer between Foxtel and partners
-
Adobe AEM
-
AWS
-

Provide direction and leadership to ensure they meet business needs and provide an excellent, cost efficient service

Performance management and coaching to foster a high performance culture
-
Recruitment of resources as required.

Identify and implement measures that ensure maximum productivity and efficiency of the Digital Application Support Analysts

Manage the 24 * 7 On Call roster and be available as an escalation point on call for your area of responsibility.

Report on active vendor and internal application faults and anomalies
-
Plan, implement and educate team on daily/weekly/monthly procedures to monitor application performance and optimisation.

Manage the operational support of production SDLC project deployments

Ensure a thorough knowledge of Foxtel’s packages, products, rates, discounts, promotions and business logic is obtained and maintained
Your capability
-
Previous relevant leadership experience gained within a large commercial environment is advantageous
-
Understanding and application of ITIL framework and processes highly desirable
-
Understanding of Waterfall, Agile and DevOps and ability to build strong teams around these delivery models.

Flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing environment

Demonstrated tolerance for high volume workload and multi-tasking abilities

Enthusiasm, self-motivation and self-discipline

Customer service focus

Strong experience in dealing with Digital platforms and technologies including AWS, Adobe AEM, Mobile apps both IOS and Android.

Demonstrates strong ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities

Demonstrates the ability to relate technical faults to financial and customer impact both for them but also to articulate in a meaningful way for the teams
