Architecture | Solution Delivery | Technical SME
Contract and Permanent opportunities are available. 3-5 years worth of commercial experience is required for this role.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Delivery Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to plan, design and provide detailed Technology Infrastructure & Middleware solutions for AIA Australia. This role will be expected to be a SME in a number of technologies, provide technical leadership and industry best practices in the delivery of technology solutions & designs applicable to the AIA Australia environment.
Knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in:
- Linux (SLES & Redhat)
- Middleware Technologies
Essential skills:
Java Enterprise Web & Application Server
- IBM HTTP Server
- IBM WebSphere Application Server ND
- Other JEE application server technologies
Relational Database Management Systems
- IBM DB2
- MS SQL Server
Desired skills:
- WebSphere Administrator level certification
- Project Management certification / experience (structured methodology)
- ITIL certification (or work experience within ITIL organisation)
- Large, mission critical enterprise computing environment experience;
- Banking & Finance industry experience preferred
