Our client, a large national organisation, requires a Network Engineer in its Infrastructure Team to work closely with clients and IT to understand the stakeholder requirements that drive the Analysis, Design and Operation of quality technical solutions.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- CISCO experience installing, configuring and maintaining routers and switches including:
- Configuring Cisco 800 Series Routers and Cisco DMVPN feature.
- Provisioning ADSL & NBN Services in an Enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of 4G & LTE Access technologies for Data Communication.
- Strong experience with the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
- An understanding of common security and networking protocols including; MAC, VLANs, IPV4, TCP Port numbers & BGP.
- Experience using Simple Networking Management Protocol (SNMP) and common Network Monitor Tools such as Cacti. Prime Infrastructure knowledge an advantage.
- Experience interfacing with Service Providers.
- Exposure to Scripting: JSON, XML, PHP, Python, JavaScript, LAMP, WAMP.
- CCNA certification Required; CCNP Preferred.
