Leading state government department is currently looking for an experience Program Manager to Establish an agile Digital Transformation Program Office (e.g. consistent with the Scaled Agile Framework), including: lean governance; budget management; methods and tools; stakeholder management; reporting and; resourcing arrangements.
You will have demonstrated experience in establishing scaled agile delivery models within complex enterprise environments. This is an initial 12-month contract with likely extensions.
Your key responsibilities:
- Establish an agile QFES Digital Transformation Program Office (e.g. consistent with the Scaled Agile Framework), including: lean governance; budget management; methods and tools; stakeholder management; reporting and; resourcing arrangements;
- Developing and implementing strategy for the program team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan;
- Leading the definition of projects required to optimally deliver the program-of-works;
- Oversight the development and delivery of investment and budget-drawdown proposals; and
- Develop and monitor the program budget including expenditure and programs and prepare budget variation reports.
You will need to have the following:
- Demonstrated experience of managing large and complex ICT programs of work;
- Experience in managing ICT change management for complex programs at an enterprise level;
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders including: customers; subject matter experts, and; delivery teams; with the ability to manage blockers with distributed stakeholders;
- Minimum of 5 years Program Management experience in large Enterprise environments; and
- Experience in dealing with external partners and vendors.
