Green Light Australia are currently looking for an experienced Configuration Manager to join our delivery team in Melbourne. You will be responsible to ensure ICT assets and their configurations are known, recorded and accessible.


To be successful in this engagement the Configuration Manager will come from a strong ICT background and will be accountable for maintaining the relationships between the configuration items that makeup services and systems used by the business.


Responsibilities:

• Define, develop and maintain configuration management to configuration data and to provide accurate information for risk assessment and incident resolution
• Develop and promote the value of Asset & Configuration management policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance and reduce risk
• Implement effective processes and controls for maintaining the configuration management, thereby maintaining the integrity and security
• Undertake regular audits of the configuration management and configuration data and develop and implement processes to remediate non-compliance and ensure the database reflects the production environment

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a Configuration Management role.
• Proven ability to work on large systems integration projects.
• Background in Unified Communications (UC)
• Expertise on different CM tools used to manage hardware, software and infrastructure.
• Experience in physical and logical audits.
• Experience in installation and support of configuration management toolset.
• Working knowledge of networking, IT systems, virtualisation and data centres.
• Experience in executing process improvements.
• Experience in deployment of systems to production.
• Expertise in project build/test cycle.
• Knowledge of project management planning.
• ITIL Certification
• PMI or Prince2 certification will be a plus
