Exciting, new, full-time opportunity with one of the world's leading suppliers of broadcast systems and solutions.
The role:
The Broadcast Pre-Sales Engineer role is a varied position working with multiple customers in the Australia, NZ and SE Asia region. The role will see you involved in requirements gathering, solutions design, product demonstrations, proofs of concept and proposals right through to commercial account supervision duties and day-to-day customer contact coordinating new commercial opportunities or resolving problems.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Customer meetings to define and gather requirements;
- Set-up and demonstration of broadcast software / application solutions;
- Solutions design;
- End-to-end involvement in sales lifecycle;
- Escalation point of contact for customers as subject matter expert;
- Pre-sales support and demos for trade shows / events;
The Broadcast Pre-Sales Engineer works closely with other product, sales and project teams, and is face-to-face with customers on a regular basis so good communication skills and an approachable attitude are vital.
What we need:
We're looking for a combination of professional solutions engineering / architecture experience in the digital broadcast IT systems domain, plus first-class communication and customer-facing skills including previous experience in a Sales or Pre-Sales capacity.
This role provides new systems and software design and project engineering services for the latest in broadcast MAM software so a background in similar digital, broadcast technology environments is essential.
We're looking for a track record in the following:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Broadcast IT Engineering;
- Solutions design or architecture experience;
- Sales or pre-sales experience in B2B technology solutions;
- Excellent communications skills. Comfortable dealing with customers;
- Good interpersonal, administrative and documentation skills;
- Ability to travel (national & international) to customer sites or events.
