Centrally Located in Canberra
M&T Resources is currently seeking an experienced Senior Linux Engineer to join a Federal Government Department based in Canberra.
The role requires you to administer, maintain and develop future upgrades to the Linux infrastructure.
A successful candidate will meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Experience managing Enterprise Linux servers in virtualized environments
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
- Strong grasp on configuration management and deployment tools, including Puppet and Ansible
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMWare
- Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, iptables, etc.
- Strong experience with Spacewalk
