We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Systems Engineer to deliver a stable, secure, high performing Technology Platform and Wide Area to IntoWork Australia and the IntoWork Australia Group of Companies.
They will be responsible for ensuring network uptime service levels agreements (SLAs) are maintained, information and networks are secured and performance benchmarks for the network and business critical systems are met. The key focus being ensuring proactive maintenance and taking preventative action to ensure a continuous outstanding level of service.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science related fields.
• Industry Certifications in Microsoft Server, Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik , Sophos
You will also bring outstanding technical expertise and have experience in the administration of large scale wide area networks for a medium to large organisation and bring expert knowledge of TCP / IP networking, routing protocols and DNS principles and the ability to administer corporate level LAN, Wi-Fi and WAN solutions.
You will be have a high level of knowledge in:
• Microsoft server environment and Active Directory management.
• Development, testing and deployment of Windows network configuration via Microsoft Group Policy.
• Microsoft Powershell to administer Microsoft server based systems and applications.
• Mail flow and Mail Server management.
• ANetwork security, e.g. UTM, DMZ and firewall solutions.
Additionally your technical experience will include:
• Administration of numerous server operating systems and hypervisor including but not limited to Linux / UNIX, Windows, VMware / Hyper-V.
• Storage systems (NAS/SAN) and related technologies (recent)
• Veeam Backup solutions.
• Administering environments containing large numbers of users across multiple Active Directory domains, cross-forest trusts and Windows Server platforms.
• Networking monitoring, benchmarking and proactive incident resolution.
With first hand exposure to cloud solutions, IaaS and/or SaaS administration, including but not limited to Office 365, AWS and Salesforce and with some experience in programming, scripting and coding, your skillset will be invaluable to the team
In addition to your strong technical capabilities you will also have strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and the ability to be flexible and agile in a fast paced and changing environment.
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children Blue Card, National Police Check and Australian driver’s licence is required and can be arranged for the suitable applicant.
