Transurban’s ePMO was established to develop, consolidate, implement and administer best in class portfolio, program and project management practices, with a focus on building and delivering on long term ePMO capabilities.

As the ePMO Coordinator you’ll play a critical role in overseeing the administration needs of projects and programmes to support overall governance and effective performance management. This role will see you supporting a common set of best practices, principles and templates for managing projects as well as tracking and reporting on Programme projects.

You’ll work closely with Technology resource managers, project and program managers and other stakeholders to continuously improve on the process to support the efficient management of Technology resources, ensuring resources are available to successfully deliver projects across the enterprise. You’ll also ensure that fit-for-purpose tools, dashboards and reports are implemented to support the resource management process

The impact you’ll have
  • You’ll ensure a fit-for-purpose resource management process is implemented and maintained to support the efficient delivery of project / programs. This includes training and leading any adoption & change activities required to ensure resource managers, project / program managers and other stakeholders are familiar with the processes
  • You’ll ensure that resource management processes are periodically reviewed for continuous improvement, including undertaking analysis to identify – and leading the resolution of – any pain points on resource management
  • You’ll provide administrative support of the EPMO owned tools, including CA Clarity PPM and Time-Pro
  • You’ll regularly contribute insights on resource management (and other project management topics) to foster lessons learnt across the Project Management Community of Practice
  • You’ll assist in the development and continuous improvement of project templates, processes and documentation

The talent you’ll bring
  • You’ll be familiar with project management principles, with an understanding of resource supply vs demand profile and its impact to project successes. Ideally you’ll back this up with some project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile etc.) and prior experience working in fast-paced project / PMO environment
  • You’ll be comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people and be able to articulate complex insights into easily receivable language
  • You’ll be self-motivated with an ability to follow issues through to conclusion
  • You’ll naturally be curious and be able to identify trends and provide insights that drive outcomes
  • You’ll have exposure to PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tools, i.e. CA Clarity PPM, Daptiv PPM etc.
  • Critical to the role is a keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
