Based in Southeast QLD, Northern NSW and the ACT we supply and service clients nationally and are strongly placed to meet market demands well into the future. Due to our rapid growth, we require an additional Level 1-3 Support Technician to join our team.

Your Role:

This role is ideally suited to candidates that are looking for a strategic career move stepping into a challenging fast-paced support role. You will be responsible for looking after our current clients as well as any new customers that come on board. This role will require you to support customers remotely utilising our automated helpdesk software and remote management tools, with a percentage of onsite work required as necessary.

The role will to grow our cloud first first business providing cloud migration support along with cloud solutioning and architecture support.

Your Skills and Personality

Required

  • Relevant tertiary qualification – Diploma IT or above;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Systems Administrator/IT Support role;
  • Experience supporting server operating systems such as Server 2008, 2012, 2016;
  • Office365, Exchange 2010, 2013, Exchange Online
  • Experience supporting virtualisation such as VMWare and Hyper-V;
  • Support and configuration of backup and disaster recovery solutions;
  • Experience supporting and configuring enterprise firewalls, routers and managed switches;
  • Advanced knowledge of the fundamentals of networks, desktop configuration and roles of servers in business applications;
  • Dedication and enthusiasm for technology;
  • Positive attitude;
  • A demonstrated ability to learn new skills rapidly and apply problem-solving skills;
  • Passion for Technology and learning;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to engage with clients in a pleasant, cooperative and constructive manner;
  • Experience in MSP IT Helpdesk Role.

Desirable

  • Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, Citrix, VMware or other certs)
  • Exposure to PABX solutions such as Mitel, iPECs, VOIP based solutions
  • Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS, SD-WAN
  • Understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS
  • Video conferencing experience with solutions such as LifeSize, Blue Jeans

  • This is not a post-graduate or an entry level role. Please do not apply for this position unless you have 5 years' experience in help desk, support and maintenance skills to fulfil the requirements of this role.
  • A strong command of the English language is essential, as the role requires the ability to clearly articulate yourself to your peers and to our clients.
  • You are required to have an Australian open driver’s license.
