4mation Technologies are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our ranks. The role will sit within a cross-functional agile development team and report direct to one of our Tribe Leads (ie team lead).
The opportunity provides exposure to a broad range of technologies, as we produce high-quality solutions for our various clients across multiple industries. The right candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced agency environment while living and breathing the Agile Mindset.
As a business analyst in the team, you will take the lead role in gathering business & user requirements from the necessary parties, documenting these requirements into specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria. You will work as a fundamental part of the development team, seated with the developers you will ensure the team understands the who, what, and why of the project and ensure that deliverables achieve sprint goals and meet quality expectations.

- Facilitate workshops, interviews, focus group sessions
- Gather business, application and user requirements
- Produce specification documentation including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Identify project risks and risk mitigation strategies
- Maintain high level schedules of all projects
Essential Skills
- Proven ability to gather, model and document business and functional requirements
- Experience in creating specifications expressed as user stories, use cases, contextual and visual diagrams and technical scopes
- Experience working in a client facing environment
- Experience delivering projects on time and budget
- Must have full-time working rights in Australia
