Your Role

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within our Business Technology team for a solutions orientated and customer focused Service Support Technician. Reporting to the Team Leader – Service Support, this fast paced position will see you providing exceptional and people-oriented level one support services for Australian Unity staff with a specific focus on incident and problem management. You will also educate and transfer knowledge to support our business objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant experience in service desk, desktop support or similar customer facing IT support roles
  • Professional phone manner and face-to-face customer service skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and a knack for troubleshooting
  • In-depth knowledge of computer operating systems including Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 / 365 & mobile devices
  • Experience with Skype for Business
  • An understanding of active directory and related components, specifically Users and Computers
  • Ability to operate rotating shifts between 7am and 6pm
  • Previous experience with Citrix highly regarded
