Reason for this role:
  • The Senior Change Manager is responsible for defining and delivering specific domain stream/s of a future state operating model for Infrastructure & Operations supported by a comprehensive change and HR program. 
  • The role will work closely with the Program Change Lead, key stakeholders, project streams, process and operating model owners and Business Service Managers, to ensure I&O customers are ready, willing and able, to consume end-to-end services provided by Infrastructure and Operations, and our teams are ready, willing and able to provide them.
 
 
 
A few of the main duties:
 
Strategy, Planning and Execution:
  • Develop a transformation organisational change strategy for specific domain stream/s, adjusting as required, to align to the broader Project Change and Infrastructure Transformation objectives. 
  • Develop and manage the integrated organisational change plan for specific domain stream/s.
  • Deliver the agreed capabilities and operating model shifts for specific domain stream/s as defined in the organisation change plan via a range of change initiatives. 
  • Ensure stakeholders are ready, willing and able to receive and embed the change for specific domain stream/s.  Identify, monitor and report on issues and/or problems associated with the change for specific domain stream/s.
  • Accountable for the organisational change business benefits for specific domain stream/s within agreed scope, time and budget.
 
Resourcing:
  • Ensure the required organisational change related capabilities are available to deliver the project outcomes for specific domain stream/s.  These capabilities include, but are not limited to, process design, operating model design, change leadership, HR specialists, communications specialists and learning.
  • Establish clear accountabilities, roles and responsibilities across the three main streams - Change & Comms, Operating Model and HR – for specific domain stream/s.
  • Develop and coach individuals and/or teams to meet individual development needs and project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the change resource plan for specific domain stream/s.
 
 
Experience:
  • Five to ten years’ experience delivering organisation change in a corporate and/or matrix environment
  • Five + years’ experience managing senior stakeholders, vendors, finances and delivering to project management methodologies
  • Knowledge and proven track record in managing end-to-end technology directed change, including in a multi supplier environment, and particularly in relation to changes to technology infrastructure operating models will be well regarded.
  • Track record of successfully overseeing change including:
    • Commercial acumen
    • Risk management and governance
    • Educating and influencing
    • Knowledge of necessary methodologies, tools and processes
    • Up to date knowledge of relevant financial regulatory and legal requirements
  • Financial services industry experience desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proven capability in people management
 
Education:
  • Qualifications in Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Qualifications in Change Management (e.g. Postgraduate certificate in Change Management, PROSCI, Degree in related field such as Business, Psychology or HR, or equivalent industry experience)
