The Opportunity

SEEK wants to help our customers develop their employer brand, such as by creating job search experiences on their own websites.

In this role you will be product owner  of a product suite focussed on solving problems for small and medium businesses. 

This role sits within SEEK's direct hirer channel and provides a challenging opportunity for an experienced product manager to lead the vision in a dedicated cross-functional team focussed on improving the way jobseekers and hirers connect.

Key focus areas:

• Work on an exciting product roadmap focussed on enhancing the customer experience for our hirers
• Be the "Product Owner" of a product portfolio touching multiple customer segments including SME, Corporates, Government and Candidates
• Develop action plans and deliver enhancements, UI changes or product development initiatives to manage the product portfolio throughout the product lifecycle
• Deliver rationale for new initiatives and product features with a focus on customer value and strategic fit
• Deliver key metrics / outcomes and drive the evolution of your product through ideation, validation, development and enhancement
• Actively manage and engage stakeholders across the Product stream and the business

The Team

You will be part of a passionate team reporting to the Head of Product, Direct Hirer Channel and will work closely with Product, Delivery and UX colleagues, the Product Strategy team and other stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop rationale. Along with the UX Designers you will strive to answer key questions about our users and work within a co-located development stream to ensure smooth delivery.

Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes
• Obsessive about customers with a strong capacity to understand market and strategic drivers to set clear goals and define problems
• Considerable experience in online or software product development where the consumer is the end user (ideally this experience is in online classifieds or with ecommerce focussed websites)
• Solid understanding of the agile software development lifecycle
• Numerate and analytical with strong attention to detail
• Well-developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
