This highly reputable organisation is expanding its IT team and is looking for a dedicated and driven Server and Network Engineer. Working in a specialist team, this is a great opportunity to develop your career in an enterprise environment. You will be primarily responsible across the organisations server and network infrastructure including design, implementation and maintenance. 
 
You will be motivated with a substantial amount of relevant experience and will be looking for a role that will challenge you. This opportunity will allow you to develop your leadership capabilities and see you play a significant role in supporting the business.
  
The primary responsibilities of the role include:

• Installation and management of the server, network and telephony infrastructure 
• Demonstrated ability to produce high level documentation
• Manage and lead server and network infrastructure projects
• Perform technical evaluations of new technology and products for the use in technical services
• Work effectively with external vendors and suppliers

To be successful you will require the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience working with MS operating systems
• Experience in successfully managing VMWare virtualisation platform
• Experience with Windows Server and network design
• Ability to support and maintain corporate LAN network devices
• Attention to detail with activities such as logging, reporting and documentation

Your experience with installation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server will be highly regarded along with your customer focus approach to IT Solutions.
