An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced, service orientated Unified Communications Engineer to join DLA Piper, based in our Perth office.
Working as part of the Unified Messaging and Communications team, you will be responsible for securing the continuity, availability, security and performance of the DLA Piper Voice, Video, and Conferencing environments. In addition, you will also facilitate the implementation and security of Cisco Voice Networking and Unified Communication platforms, which includes introduction of new functionality and system upgrades, including integration with Skype for Business and Exchange UM.
Candidates will need to be Cisco CCNA Voice / CCNP Voice and Microsoft MCITP / MSCE certified, with minimum 5 years' hands on experience of voice and collaboration systems within an IT department of a large firm.
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent knowledge of the following core technologies:
- Excellent knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, Cisco PCCE and Arc.
- Excellent Collaboration and AV system experience
- Understanding of Microsoft Unified Communications: Exchange, Skype for Business with full Enterprise voice.
- Good Networking fundamentals: TCPIP / EIGRP / BGP / QOS
- Experience in working with third party venders such as Cisco, Symantec or other ISP.
- Certification in Exchange and/or Skype for Business an advantage
Candidates must also have good technical understanding of systems supported by the team such as (but not limited to) video conferencing/telepresence, Acarno, vBrick, Airmedia / Clickshare.
