We are PFD Food Services, Australia's largest privately owned food service company (www.pfdfoods.com.au). Established in 1943, PFD now has almost 70 branches in metropolitan and regional areas around Australia. We have a broad range of customers such as local restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, pubs and clubs!
The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide a very high level of business analytics aimed to drive improved business performance in operations across the state.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with state senior management team and other senior managers/stakeholders to provide timely financial support and advice
- Provide high level and complex reports and data analysis to senior management to drive optimal business performance.
- Compile system generated and manual KPI data from our network of branches
- Follow up various reporting units to ensure information is provided on time and accurately to meet reporting deadlines
- Establish report automation and flexible reporting to provide detailed and valuable KPI’s
- Provide optimized and efficient reports using macros functional reporting mechanics
- Some data entry is required to compile the reports on a daily/weekly basis
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
- Strong computer literacy and experience
- Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills (evidence required) in the use of complex macros and reporting mechanics
- Strong ability to collaborate cross functionally
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
- Highly analytical with the ability to understand Key Performance Indicators and provide guidance on critical improvement factors
- Outstanding eye for attention to detail to eradicate errors
- Flexible and adaptable attitude with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional disposition
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience will need to be provided
