The perfect candidate will have experience in managing large and complex ICT programs of work, delivering change at an enterprise level.

Based in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs, this purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of the digital transformation program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish an agile Digital Transformation Program Office (e.g. consistent with the Scaled Agile Framework), including: lean governance, budget management, methods and tools, stakeholder management, reporting and resourcing arrangements.
• Develop and implement strategies for the program team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan.
• Lead in the definition of projects required to optimally deliver the program of works.
• Oversee the development and delivery of investment and budget draw-down proposals.
• Develop and monitor the program budget and prepare budget variation reports.
• Be responsible for program-level risk analysis and risk management.
• Ensure planning, scheduling and prioritising of strategic initiatives is maximised for optimum delivery and performance.
• Lead teams to successfully achieve planning, scheduling and project delivery for operational and strategic goals.
• Procure and manage resource requirements for planning, scheduling and project delivery staff.
• Participating in potential tender and grant application process including design, submission and review.
• Reporting on program performance to the executive manager and governing bodies.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement.
• Ensure relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld.
• Plan, direct and co-ordinate activities to manage and implement a programme from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.
• Plan, schedule, monitor and report on activities related to the programme.
• Ensure that programmes are managed to realise business benefits.

The successful applicant will need the following:

• Demonstrated experience of managing large and complex ICT programs of work.
• Experience in managing ICT change management for complex programs at an enterprise level.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders including: customers, subject matter experts, and delivery teams.
• Minimum of 5 years Program Management experience in large Enterprise environments.
• Experience in dealing with external partners and vendors.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in promoting a client-focused approach to the delivery and management of programs.
• Experience in contract and financial management.
• Solid leadership and a high level of emotional intelligence skills, with demonstrated ability to engage others, influence organisational culture, and provide direction.
• Ability to identify opportunities for change and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Highly developed communication skills, including an ability to prepare high level reports to the Executive and external parties.
• Project management methodology certification with demonstrated experience working with an Agile approach to delivery.
