Our client is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a global leading vendor in the SaaS/PaaS application development sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable global company that is experiencing phenomenal growth in the APAC region. They have been highly regarded by Gartner and other IT Analysts as leaders within Application Development so you'll be working with a strong product. 

As the Solution Architect, you will work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs, formulate and deliver product demonstrations and be the technical, business and subject matter expert for opportunities in the pipeline. The ideal candidate will have previous application development experience.

Job Responsibilities:   

• Work with the sales team and clients to identify business pains, analyse and clarify business needs
• Design and architect value based solutions to meet these identified needs
• Develop and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations
• Prepare PoCs
• Create strategy and architecture for customer ecosystems
• Provide technical direction and input during the sales cycle
• Work with partners to develop technical capabilities and competencies

Skills Required:   

• Minimum of 5 years' experience with a software company
• Application Development experience will be highly regarded
• Strong experience with development languages eg. .Net, Java, Python, Perl
• Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) will be a real bonus
• Experience using Agile development methodologies
• Strong understanding of technical architecture and IT products
• Exposure to managing projects and database concepts will be high regarded
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills
