We are looking for a Data Development, Reporting & Analytics Manager for one of our well known banking clients based in Sydney CBD.
In this role, you will be leading a team of up to 20 people in data warehousing and analytics and will be responsible for vendor management and involved in the revision of the OP model.
You will bring strategy, leadership and capability skills to the role as you lead the data and reporting functions for the bank. In addition, you will manage service delivery in line with service agreements and engage with internal technology and operations teams to do so.
Managing the successful delivery of projects is a crucial part of this role. You must be able to drive governance and management of third party and supplier relationships and estimate and support business cases for the bank.
You will be a technical thought leader for cross functional teams and provide them with insights into the latest data and analytics trends occurring in the industry. Your ability to drive creative use of data and analytics across the business will enable data driven decisions to be made, based on insights that can lead to solving customer and business based challenges.
Establishing and maintaining data quality and data governance is a key part of this role, as well as systems analysis and change delivery and vendor management.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, reporting and analytics with a strong strategy and leadership background. You must be delivery focused and calm in your nature whilst looking after various portfolios and programs of work.
Attitude is a huge part of this role; a collaborative, creative person with leadership, technical and business facing skills is what we are looking for. You must be able to build and develop strong relationships and be able to drive better outcomes for the business.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong experience in data, reporting and analytical tools, processes and practices
- Strong strategy and leadership skills
- Experienced working through software development lifecycles and processes
- Managed, supervised or led a team previously
- Strong Data Quality and Data Governance skills
- Technical thought leader
- Experienced in project management methodologies
- Strong ITIL understanding along with other operational processes
- Worked in Agile or iterative development processes
- Able to drive agendas, lead and take control
- Advantageous to have Salesforce experience
- Advantageous to have remediation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about data, reporting and analytics
