The Company

This new Test Analyst role is with an ASX listed Energy Company going through significant growth.

The particular project which this test analyst will deliver on is the foundational components of an IM platform, adhering to the target architecture and providing a capability across:

• data sourcing and integration,
• visualisation and
• actionable insights

Responsibilities:

As the Test Analyst, you will be responsible for test planning and design, test execution and defect reporting working on the Information Management foundation and the subsequent Asset Risk Management use case. In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Adhering to organisational Testing Quality Standards and Procedures
• Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements and user stories for testability
• Providing inputs to acceptance criteria
• Uploading finalised requirements/user stories to Quality Center
• Creating, designing and documenting, tests using Quality Center
• Performing SIT, E2E and Regression testing
• Establishing Requirements Traceability Matrix in Quality Center
• Assisting business users in planning and executing UAT
• Documenting defects in JIRA for resolution and work with stakeholders to perform retesting where required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in testing Information Management systems, business intelligence, big data and/or data management
• Testing in a cloud environment, ideally Microsoft Azure
• 3+ years at Test Analyst level
• Experience testing within an Agile project
• ISTQB Foundation
• Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative on previous projects
• Nice to have: SAFe Practitioner Certification
• Nice to have: Knowledge Asset Management, preferably in SAP
• Nice to have: Experience in similar End User Computing replacement programs
