About the role

Kinetic IT has come a long way since opening its doors in 1995, growing to become one of Australia's largest ICT managed service providers with around 1200 staff in its ranks. We're on the lookout for an Associate System Engineer to become the newest member of our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our high-profile customer.


Being responsible for the “walk up” IT support kiosk you will be providing level 1 / 2 support to all our onsite customers staff. In addition to technical skills, you will draw upon a range of skills including customer service, problem solving, time management and team work.

Here are some of the things our team get involved in:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Excellent troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Logging jobs and escalating to cross-functional teams
• Collaborating with other vendors and service providers
• Monday to Friday business hours

About you

You're energetic, compassionate and enjoy solving problems. Your curiosity and willingness to learn is complimented by your recent experience within customer service or a similar desktop role. This role stresses the point of following process whilst still knowing when to use your initiative. Awesome technical skills aside, you're great at translating technical jargon into layman's terms.

On top of being a troubleshooting guru, it stands to reason you'll have the following:

• A customer-focused approach to troubleshooting
• Top-notch communication skills - both written and verbal
• Ability to always stay cool, even when under pressure
