An opportunity has arisen for an experienced DevOps professional to work for a well renowned, reputable organisation in Perth. This role will provide you with an extensive list of exciting new projects and due to expansion, an opening has risen where you can apply your extensive knowledge and be a barometer for this organisation.
Core Responsibilities:
- Automate, maintain and manage automation practices and delivery pipelines for availability, performance, scalability and security across the project systems and pipelines.
- System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
Skills and experience:
- Linux and Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies (Active Directory, Exchange etc.)
- Web and Application Server technologies experience
- DevOps, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technology
- Scripting language
- Networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
- Version control platform
- Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
- Programming language experience
- Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing concepts
- Exposure to Virtualization
