Cognizant is hiring Business Analyst position in Melbourne

Responsibilities: 

• Lead workshops to analyze current business and organizational shortcomings with client
• Develop analytical use cases in line with the customers objectives, strategies and plans to deliver business value
• Formulate and document business requirements package
• Analyze current business processes, procedures, systems and work practices
• Carry out gap analysis and recommend optimal business practices, and system functionality
• Project management activities such as delivery plans, costing and resource management.

Mandatory Skills: 

• 6-8 years of experience working as a Business Analyst. Minimum 1 year in the local region as the BA.
• Ability to interact with the business team to gather and analyse requirements. 
• Good knowledge of the working of Big Data engagements and prior experience of working as a BA in those applications
• Must have - Banking domain knowledge
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data  
• Proven experience in working on Agile projects and experience as a product owner. Certification in any of the agile streams is preferred.
• Should have executed E2E implementation of projects in Agile
• Ability to create user acceptance test cases, user stories, release plans by working with multiple stakeholders
• Conduct UAT as needed or create data for UAT
• Ability to identify and resolve risks and dependencies
• Data analyst role in the career is nice to have.
