THE ROLE
As the Senior IT Project Manager you will lead the migration of a Document Management Project to migrate content from various legacy ECM systems into OpenText and O365 Sharepoint.

This role will manage and deliver all IT and business components of this strategic project, including defining the project approach, managing content discovery and migration activities, and upgrading target systems.

You will need to manage multiple stakeholders across the business and externally ensuring a high level of communications is maintained across all.

Implementing an execute process with a fine level of detail to ensure all documents are captured and migrated accordingly and implement excellent change management to enable seamless work efficiency with the change.

Other key responsibilities will include:

• Manage external infrastructure and application vendors through the full engagement lifecycle (requirements, SOW, delivery, transition)
• Define and document the baseline for the project, decompose complex work activities into manageable components, manage the project baseline in addition to any changes, and understand the customer's requirements and deliver a product that satisfies customer expectations
• Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis, mitigation, response planning, and monitoring and control of projects
• Define, solve, act on, and evaluate issues in making decisions and include the project team in the decision making when appropriate
• Closely manage all dependent projects across all of the organisation to ensure consistent messaging, change management and communications to the business

IS THIS YOU?

You’ll need to be focussed on quality, with an exception eye for detail, flexible and have the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will also hold relevant Project Management and/or IT qualifications.

You’re experienced in:

• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Mining Industry
• Experience implementing ECM systems and migrating large quantities of documents.
• Extensive experience in project management initiating, planning, and executing activities to deliver quality products and services to satisfy requirements within a negotiated cost and schedule
• Extensive experience using Agile and Waterfall delivery methodology
• Extensive experience in establishing and maintaining positive Senior Stakeholder relationships
• Effectively manages and motivates project teams to deliver to plan and exceed Stakeholder expectations
• Experience in system integration
